#Gold #silver #preciousmetals https://europabullion.com/ Thank you to Europa Bullion for the generous sponsorship of my channel! In this video I talk about why silver and gold prices are down in US $ but are up in UK £. Silver and gold prices are both down due to a stronger US Dollar for people with US $ but are up for UK £. I talk about how the price of silver will be affected in the future. The USDX is measured against 6 other currencies and the main one is the Euro. I believe that we have not hit the bottom yet for silver and that it will continue to go down. Silver and gold are an inflation hedge and I am still stacking them hard today! I talk about why the silver price is down and what it will take to move silver back up. If you are silver stacking or investing in silver then you need to look at the long term. Silver price 2022 can change quite a bit from where it is now. This silver price drop can be seen as a buying opportunity for silver stackers to pick up more silver coins and silver bars at a discount. I also talk about where I think the price of silver is going in the coming years. https://backyardbullion.com/product-category/all-items/ Join the channel and show your support by becoming a BYB Rambling society member today! https://www.youtube.com/backyardbullion/join If you would like to support our channel please consider purchasing our T-shirts please visit this link: https://teespring.com/en-GB/new-byb-hallmarked-t-shirt Stay safe, stay healthy all. 1. You can’t completely avoid politics when it comes to precious metals. Gold is very much insurance against government insanity.

I do wonder who will buy all those extra gilts to fund energy handouts. The BoE is tightening policy (slowly), they can’t exactly accelerate QE at the moment. It could soon be a painful time to remortgage in Britain, and the Pound could take another plunge.
Owning some gold helps me relax about my finances, owning swiss francs and USD helps too.

  2. I prefer the ROYAL MINT
Their stuff is much better looking than most everything else, and the prices are better than the American eagles.

  3. At least when you look up the spot price, you don’t really have to change it into pounds anymore 🤣

  4. Bear in mind that the Euro also got pounded this week. Just US96cents per EUR.

Dollar also crossed 7 Yuan(China) per dollar.

It’s a story of bizarre dollar strength rather than just gold weakness. With Fed interest rates over 3% and US mortgage rates at 6.3%, investors playing off interest rate differentials with ECB europe being the worst.

  5. idk I think Saudi Arabia holds a big key to our dedollarization that’s being massively overlooked.

  6. The UK is f***ed. The pound is on its knees, and it is going to get worse yet. Gold and silver have shot up in the UK. And they are set to shoot up a lot more. 2023 will be a fantastic year for precious metals.

  7. I never thought I’d see the pound be worth less than a dollar in my lifetime… it’s a thing of pride, I now realise. I never used to really think about that until today. Will it? Interesting times.

  8. Why is silver kept so high in price in Britain and how do they keep it so high when it’s so much cheaper in the US? Why don’t WE get a chance to buy silver at the American prices?

  9. I’m gutted I couldn’t see this issue ten years ago. Everyone slags off silver, I think long term it will be okay, I’m a recent member of the forum, but it’s fascinating. The writings of Rob Dix are astonishing.
